Well I am starting to crave sunlight, refreshing breezes, pastel colored flowers, budding trees, and lighter jackets. I am anxious for spring, and as of lately the weather in our little village has had a nice turn around. The snow has melted, and a wamer air has been drinfting through from France. However, with it comes the rain, and yet again grey skies with the occasional ray of sun. 

Therefore to refrain from going insane from the lack of color and sunlight, I have had the pleasure to create some lovely newborn flower headbands for my very talented friend Melissa. She takes breathtaking photographs and is currently in Mannheim, but this summer she will be in North Carolina. So if any of you are interested in having beautiful pictures of your family and are either in Germany or NC contact her. It will be money well spent!

Eitherway, I digress, as I was making these pretty little flowers bunnies came to mind and as if it were destined to be I found this beauty on Pinterest.

Well, its Monday

As most people wake up with that dreaded feeling of " uhh it´s Monday.." I wake up feeling " Well, its´Monday". You might not see the difference, but there is one. I both dislike and enjoy Mondays. I dislike waking up at 5:30 am. However, I do enjoy having Sarahs nap time be my personal time, and with that one and a half I can finally sit upstairs and feel productive. 

Today, started out as a "well, it´s Monday" type pof day and after an hour it turned into a " oh dear God, when will it end!" type of day. Mind you, I type this and it is only 1:46 in the afternoon......Basti, little number 1 woke up with all color drained out of his face and trying his hardest not to toss his cookies (if ya know what I mean...sigh) that of course I could not send him to school. He promised we would be nice, and listen and obey. He kept his word for about an hour until he lost interest in Sesame Street and wanted some toy that Sarah had.

It has been a screamingfest since then.

However, since he was "sick" they both are in bed as I speak, and I am allowed to recharge and be productive.

During that wonderful break I was able to work on the little promo gift I plan on adding to any lovely person that purchases anything of mine. It is a little Dress a Mouse, a paper doll that can either be a smartly dressed little boy mouse, or a cute as can be girly mouse.Unfortunately the intermission at screamfest was short lived, so I was only able to finish the boy version.

Earlier, while the two littles were half fighting/half playing, I was able to add some color to my business card. 

So, that is my monday. Hope yours is scream free :)

With the new year almost here I have been busy preparing and creating for the GRAND OPENING OF MY etsy shop! The big day will be on Feb 27th, 2010.
