Fall is and has been here for a couple of weeks. I am enjoying this change for several reasons, some personal, some physical. We have finally changed our old single pane windows for more modern insulating ones; and the change is drastic. I no longer can hear every single leaf as it falls on the ground, or the roarings of the wild boars as they search for mushrooms, or feel how cold it is turning in our quiet little village. I do miss hearing the church bells, but I prefer feeling warm in our crooked little house.
Also with this seasonal change a darkness has been lifted. Even though the sun light becomes weaker, my internal light grows stronger. For about two months we had been living, what seemed to me as, someone elses life. But luckily, all is returning to normal, and with the normality I have been able to restore my thoughts towards creating. I have finished this years Bazar's poster.

I am quite happy with how it turned out. In addition to the poster I am working on a logo for the winter market. I will be selling woolly goodies with my neighbor. Here is a little preview.

I have also been returning to a long time love, cooking. I have been contemplating my life, since I have been confronted with how fleeting it is, and wondering what it is I want to focus on. Creating of course, but how. So, in the process of finding my way I found a spatula. I have been loving the kitchen and its warmth. It has been a journey of almond banana bread with a cinnamon glaze all the way to curly scones with a warm goulash soup. I hav realized how food is the most important thing in life, and how so many of us do not appreciate its importance. I find it a shame how children are not being taught how to cook and how to eat.
Either way,I'll get off of my soap box now. The chillens are calling.
