Ah a nice calming Sunday morning.
I was greeted this morning by some lovely fresh flowers while I waited for my beloved Tassimo machine to master the deliciousness that is my morning macchaito. Oh how I love you coffee machine.
And even better is to sit and enjoy my hot elixer while flipping through a newly aquired magazines.
It was full of mind tickling ideas for our garden.
Yesterday I was determined to find things for the garden. The mister and the littles came along as we went from store to store with ideas of finding something better, cheaper. But alas, the only thing I brought home was the dream filled magazine. Oh well...
The shopping venture was not a full bust. Basti was able to bring home some window markers and enjoyed drawing monsters while looking out the living room window and greeting the passer byers.
And as streaks of yellow and red filled our old single pane windows I continued on with the happy little house.
So far it has been a wonderful Sunday morning.
I like your happy little house, it makes me smile. Dream filled magazines .... I hope you can realize some of them. For the next weekend they say the weather will be better, let´s hope.

Here's hoping! It would be nice to have a picnic for mother's day :) Any special plans?

Good idea! For me we will invite my mom to a little trip. In my family mothers day isn´t a big thing. I remember: my children in primary school age woke me up at six in the morning because they were so excited about their little presents. I heard the rumbling for breakfast preparations even earlier. That was cute but stopped when they were teenagers -fortunately :-)
Perhaps that is what is waiting for you the next years too? :-)

In my family its a big deal. My grandmother's birthday is around mother's day so we would gather together and have a nice lunch or brunch with the whole family. I think its a very sweet holiday,a day that you let mom rest a bit and show her how important she is.
We shall see what happens in our crooked little house I already get up everyday at 6 so getting up at 6 with breakfast being prepared would be a nice surprise :)
