With spring appearing I have the urge to decorate our little crooked house with reminders of spring; a bird here, a flower there and even a little lavender egg. The bird is from one of my favorite Crochet blogs, Attic24. Lucy has some wonderful designs and always full of color.
Even though we are in March, and last week we had lovely warm weather, the sky is once again grey and dreary, and the sniffles have returned. It is now week six of being sick. I have forgotten what if feels like to not have to blow your nose or swallow without pain....grrrr
Nevertheless we were able to enjoy the nice weather by going down into the Black Forest.
It was nice to return as a visitor. The skies were blue. The bread was fresh, warm and soft. But more on that when I do not have a skirming crying 7 month old on my lap.
Your village lookes so nice. I love this region, we own together with friends an half-timbered (?) house near Bad Bergzabern. I love to be there during the warm period. In winter it is difficult to heat.
Your bird is so so cute. I like the vivid colors.
I remember well this time of life with little kids. Looking back I can say you can survive it but it is hard. It becomes easier when the youngest one is older than three. I have two grandchildren with 5 and 3. It is fun but when they stay with us for a weekend, I´m exhausted :-)

You will have to let me know when you are in Bad Bergzabern. I looked it up, we are relatively close.
Yes the littles are exhausting, and even more so when I am and have been under the weather (literally). However, they are adorable and i am very lucky to be able to stay home with them and crochet whenever I have time. :)

Yes, as soon it will be spring, we are there.
You brought me back to crochet, I have done 33 grannies last week, with a thick cold it was rather comfortable on the sofa with some blankets. Enjoy your little ones.
